Marcel Langeland

Marcel Langeland joined the Country Trail Band in April 2001 after Mijndert van der Beek (lead guitar player since the band was founded in 1986) decided to leave due to increasing activities in his personal life.

Marcel was born on April 4, 1968 in Emmen (Netherlands). He is married to Astrid and they have 3 children: Amy (7), Sem (4) and Ischa (1).

When Marcel was 29, a change took place in his life: he personally met the Lord Jesus, gave his life to Him and was baptized.
Marcel: "This is the best thing that ever happened to me and it's great to realize that there's a LORD who loves me and takes care of me. And it's also there for you!"
