He’s got the road
You can discover the first aspect of this title track by reading the accompanying lyrics. The second aspect has a much deeper meaning to us. ‘He’s got the road’ implies someone who has the freedom to go where they want, whenever they like. In the case of this trucker, he has a life of freedom on the road.
The saving gospel of our Lord and Savior, for anyone, is the running theme
through our songs. The Lord Jesus has come to find the lost and to call
sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32). And this is where we find that second
aspect. He’s got the way, or rather, He is the Way (John 14:6). The
Lord Jesus is the way by which we come to know the Father and by which we
can become really free. ‘We love the freedom since God has saved our
souls.’ What a wonderful message! Friends, there is salvation for anyone
who believes (John 3:1 Another song on this CD says ‘Still His words are ringing, saying: It is finished!’ These words that the Lord Jesus spoke on the cross can become the truth for you too, because He gave His life for you, so He could give us eternal life (John 6:47).
